2009 Large Grant Program
Applications due: January 31, 2009
The Colorado River District has two grant programs - the "large" grant program (maximum award of $150,000) and the "small" grant program (maximum award of $15,000). The grant programs run on alternating years (i.e., 2009 - Large Grant Program, 2010 Small Grant Program).
The 2009 Large Grant Program is designed to provide financial assistance for projects that will develop new water supplies within the District boundaries.
Grant recipients can be awarded up to 50 percent of the first $100,000 toward the project cost and 20 percent of the subsequent $500,000, up to a maximum of $150,000.

Policy
The 2009 Large Grant Program begins on December 10, 2008 and closes Jan. 31, 2009. Grants will be awarded by the Board of Directors at their annual April 2009 board meeting.
