The Colorado River Water Conservation District (“Colorado River District”) is committed to providing web-based and digital services that are accessible to all Coloradans, regardless of technology or ability.
In accordance with Titles I and II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) (42 U.S.C. §§ 1210, et seq.), the Colorado River District will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its programs, services, policies, facilities, or activities.
The Colorado River District will make all reasonable accommodations and/or modifications to its services, programs, or activities to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all such services, programs, or activities. The Colorado River District’s goal is to deliver a web-based and digital experience across our platforms that fully complies with the WCAG 2.1 AA Standards and the Rules Establishing Technology Accessibility Standards (8 CCR 1501-11), as established by the State of Colorado’s Office of Information Technology (“OIT”) pursuant to §§ 24-85-101, et seq., C.R.S. To that end, our public website (coloradoriverdistrict.org) and other web-based or digital applications provided or procured by the Colorado River District are in the process of being updated to meet the requirements of the State of Colorado’s technology standards related to technology accessibility and with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG 2.1”) AA Standards.
