Meet the Colorado River District Board of Directors
The Colorado River District is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of representatives from each of the fifteen counties included within the District. Each Director is appointed by the relevant County Commissioners in her/his county. Each term is three years. The current list of Board members can be found below.
Quarterly board meetings are held publicly for the purpose of transparency and accountability. These meetings are live-streamed and often open to in-person attendance (depending on public health requirements). During these meetings, River District staff give the Board comprehensive updates about the District’s activities and priorities. Upcoming meetings and agendas can be found here.
The Board of Directors adopt and revise River District policies on issues affecting West Slope water and are responsible for approving any Community Funding Partnership grant application which exceeds $50,000.
